Schematics

You can make your own eZ8 devboard using just a few components. The rs232 circuitry is not required because you can program the eZ8 using the debug cable, but it can be very useful. This design uses the Z8F6421PM020EG microcontroller.

Printed Circuit Board

The pcb has not been designed yet. This is what the board might look like:

It will be a 80*100mm board using trough-hole components.

Breadboard

It is possible to build the devboard on a breadboard. The bare minimum setup is the mcu, a crystal, 2 capacitors, 2 resistors and a 3.3v regulator.
